Anguilla is one of the safest and most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. It's just 35 square miles and it takes no more than 1 hour to drive from one end to the other. We got married in Anguilla in 2014 at Ani Villas and returned again in 2019 to visit the new Four Seasons Hotel Anguilla (it was formerly the Viceroy).

To get to Anguilla, you need to fly into SXM (St. Marteen airport) and then take a 20 minute boat from Marigot, St. Martin, across the Anguilla Channel.
Our favorite charter company is Fun Time Charters and they have water, b-e-e-r and even r-u-m punch on board as the perfect way to acclimate you to island life.
// Four Seasons Anguilla Review [2019]
The Four Seasons Anguilla was opened in 2016, having been converted from the Viceroy. Hurricane Irma damaged most of Anguilla in 2016 and 2017 but the island is getting back on its feet and is close to fully operational. During our trip, all the major infrastructure was opened but you could still some damage from the hurricane.
The Four Seasons property is 35 acres and is a massively beautiful complex. There are hotel rooms, private villas (up to 5 bedrooms) and 4 restaurants specializing in sushi, new american fare, seafood and caribbean favorites.
We dined at 3 restaurants and they were all great. We were lucky enough to stay at one of the Four Seasons Anguilla Villas and received a golf cart, making it really easy to go from the beach to the bar and traverse all 35 acres.
